With the inmense success of Kingdom Hearts II, Square-Enix is developing not one, but FOUR (!) games that will expand the game's story. What's interesting is which parts they will cover, and the very different consoles they will be for.
Kingdom Hearts III is, of course, the most awaited of them all, and is being developed for Playstation 3. Not much is known about it, except for the fact that it will continue after Riku, Sora and Kairi get that letter from the King in the unlockable ending at the end of Kingdom Hearts II.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is being developed by Square and h.a.n.d (the ones that also colaborated in Chocobo Tales) for the Nintendo DS. The game is about Roxas' days in the Organization XIII, and his friendship with Axel. Here we'll be able to see one day in a Organization's member (sounds a lot like those simulation games to me :D). The biggest revelation of this game is the presentation of a new member, number XIV, whose name is not known, but... it's a girl! :)
Kingdom Hearts Coded will be for cellphones (we hope that not just Japanese ones) and will focus on King Mickey, but it seems that we will use Sora again. The story says that Mickey finds some interesting notes on Jiminy Cricket's journal, and who better than the keyboy to see what it's about?
The secret ending at the end of KH2FM+ turned out to be of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, which is indeed the most revealing one: it will show the sucesses during the Keyblade War, which happened long before the main story starts. The main characters are known as Ven, Aqua, and Terra. It will be for the Playstation Portable (PSP).
