&; those clouds hold dreams of you
Version 1 of The Blue Skies Network features a girl and her cute winged cat, from an anime series called World End. While I'm not into the series (I don't even what it's about xD) I saw a couple of images of it, and fell in love with the character design (which looks an awful lot like Sister Princess, a very old fandom of mine). When I saw this specific pic, I kind of imagined the whole layout, and well, after working on bit on it, it turned out like this. I personally like it a lot, which is quite strange, considering I don't like my layouts most of the time...
If you are wondering about the text - I made it up, that's why it's so nonsense XD Just don't pay too much attention to it, OK? Even though making that animation wasn't exactly easy x_x but I'm happy with the way it turned out. I love using animations for my layouts, especially with text. The original idea was to animate the flower in the dot as well, but I guess it'd look too overcharged... I like simplicity, you see. ^^
Technical info: the layout was made in Adobe Photoshop CS2, animated in Image Ready CS2, and coded using Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 and FrontPage 2003. The brushes I used were found at Aethereality, Color Filter, and Obsidian Dawn. The image was taken from Aethereality, and the Violation font was found at Dafont.
